James Sales is more than just a lawyer. He's a relentless prosecutor, a dedicated family man, and a proud member of our Nueces County community. With 30 years of experience putting criminals behind bars, he's the proven, trustworthy choice for District Attorney.

Raised by hardworking parents and a Vietnam-veteran stepfather, James knows the value of dedication, perseverance, and service. These are the values he carries with him every day as he fights for justice in our community.

As a no-nonsense prosecutor, James has successfully convicted thousands of criminals, ranging from violent offenders to gang members. 

James understands that keeping our families safe is a top priority. As a father himself, he is committed to making Nueces County a safe place for all our families. He believes in holding those who break the law accountable, protecting the innocent, and serving justice.

A local at heart, James is a product of our community schools, graduating from Ray High School and Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, before earning his law degree at the University of Houston law school.
